We are in a life or death situation. We have been thrown a rescue opportunity and we have a chance to grab it and escape what is coming. I know for some of my friends this gets a little irritating, but it is only irritating because some hold to religious dogma and refuse to accept a greater truth. This is the Word that comes to me right now: Galatians 1 [8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. [9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. The apostles and disciples delivered the message and there is a cloud of witnesses who obeyed and left their entrenchments. They wanted more and the More had come. The pharisees (other than those who abandoned their institution), the scribes and the sadducees attacked Jesus in an effort to defend their structures. The Truth stood before them and the evidence was irrefutable, but most could not bring themselves to leaving what they knew for what they didn't know. This was not Abraham's message and it certainly wasn't Moses's message either. Pastors wonder why people are leaving their congregations. Could it be that they are in search of the “More?” You have fed them all you can and have held to your institutional thinking refusing to make a move of faith based on the Word of God. You have a cloud of witnesses before you beckoning to you. I can tell you, if you make the move forward, it will be bittersweet. There will be friends who will start acting like pharisees and sadducees. Some will act like scribes. But what you will gain will be greater than anything this world has to offer you. There is only one Way, one baptism and there is only one God. You are free to go or stay, but with the staying there is such a high price. I reiterate to all, and especially those we fellowship with, “Though we or an angel from heaven preach any other Gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” God only presented one way to enter the ranks of His “called out ones:” Acts 2 [38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2 [47] Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
