One spirit enlists through terrorism and threat with fear being vehicle introduced to encourage our conversion. The other Spirit does not force anything, but offers the only sanctuary offering peace, holiness and freedom.
We see and experienced the avarice, greed and lust of a people foreign to this continent who moved and acted under the influence of the enemy of humanity and creation. We lived a spiritual consciousness the enemy of humanity saw as a threat to all of his intentions and so, he had to kill or convert us. We use the word “assimilation.” Prior to the arrival of the colonists, we lived a life under the influence of an omnipotent and omnipresent Creator who loved and promoted us. The environmental conditions on the continent were evidence of the consciousness we knew. The enemy had to destroy this consciousness. It was a monkey-wrench in what he intended to accomplish in gaining control of the continent and subduing we humans who are the original inhabitants and continuing the destruction he had succeeded in establishing in the Old World. We have only to look at the environmental threats evident now to see how God's garden we call “Turtle Island” has been affected through the enemy's influence. We, Native people, are not exclusive to the human race. When we listen to what the other races of the world say in regards to what they were told by their ancestors and that old consciousness that is in our DNA a clearer picture of life and the life-giver comes into view. We are more spirit, than we are flesh and blood. What we knew about creation and it's Creator came through our spiritual, no physical, consciousness. It was necessary for the enemy to attack this consciousness and promote a system of beliefs, like the sentence on the blackboards at Carlisle, to destroy the good and promote the bad. A false spiritual stupor was encouraged and loyalty to the false rather than the true encouraged. We, now, declare our sovereignty looking out from the iron bars of the political, religious, social and economic prison we are now living in. The Creator wants us to know and embrace His Truth. His Truth is personified in Jesus Christ and the letters written to us in His Book. I have read His Book from cover to cover several times. I was determined to disqualify or qualify The Book's authenticity. I had met the Creator for the first time in a vacant lot and later when I opened the door of my understanding and the teachers began to come. I had prayed sincerely, “God! I want to know the truth the way that you meant it to be and not the way man would tell me!” From this prayer my real journey of life would really begin. One of the first things that came to me, as I read The Book was, it did not support the convoluted teachings of all the religions that operated the boarding schools. It did not support the idea that we were “wards” belonging to men and men's governments. I also read and came to believe that, “He whom the Father (Creator) sets free is free indeed!” I had experienced prison and felt the need for freedom. I was under the influence of a religious, political, social and economic system, that built and continues to build walls and not bridges and employs and deploys for war and rumors of war. I could see where, for everything the Creator wanted us to know as true, the enemy created a counterfeit. I came to the conclusion that there are wolves in sheep's clothing and we were introduced to the terrorism they were capable of. There are thousands of church fellowships out there all claiming to preach the truth, but few that embrace the message announcing the presence of the church of Jesus Christ. Churches that call God by His titles, but refrain from using His Name. A universal church was established in the days of the Roman Emperor, Constantine, and the doctrines and offices in this church established through several church councils. Men posture themselves in these offices as God and enforce their dogma in the world. The whole of Europe was subdued and conquered by this movement. Tribes disappeared and much of the knowledge defining how they became tribes and then, this movement and intent came here to our Turtle Island. God, our Father, would establish in our midst His, “One Lord, one faith and one baptism!” in our midst and this relationship would lead us out of the prisons established to incarcerate us to the freedom He would have us enjoy. The universal church is a counterfeit along with so many others, but the Truth tells us, “There is One God, who is the Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” There is a Way that is above every way.
